All international students on
scholarships away from their home government should have a valid, up-to-date
letter of financial guarantee on file in the International Programs Office. In
order for tuition to be billed to the embassy or scholarship agency, the
guarantee should be on file no later than June 1 of each academic year.
On June 1, 2007, the ASU Board of Trustees approved a change
in the tuition policy for international students to make the tuition more
affordable. Under the new policy, the tuition will be twice the rate of
in-state tuition plus an international student fee of $225 per semester. This
represents a significant savings for international graduate and undergraduate
students.
Effective May 27, 2008, the ASU Board of Trustees approved a $75 student health screening fee, as well as, a required prepayment of the final $225 per semester fee.
